Dabob Bay Modern Residence
Dabob Bay Modern Residence is located not far from Washington’s Hood Canal, which was built overlooking the Dabob Bay in Olympic Peninsula, Washington with area 1920 square feet. The idea of modern residence design is designed to preserve the natural qualities of the site around. Water, forests, mountain and canyon views captured from every room as a sweeping plan to follow the topography and the tree line.
Architect Greg Bjarko designed a modern interpretation of this type of Dabob Bay Modern Residence which is marked by transparency and crisp in detail contemporary traditional gable shell in response to the owner’s affinity for traditional Northwest cabin. The concept of tiered Dabob Bay Modern Residence consists of 3 elements: entry (lowest); large space and shelter (the middle), and the bedroom and reading room in the tower with a great view is impressive. Each section is open to the outside has a different orientation.
