Architectural Design Mercedes Benz Museum by UNStudio

Mercedes Benz Museum building was built with magnificent architectural designs located in the Mercedes Strasse 1, Stuttgart, with an area of 35.000 m². Mercedes Benz Museum is one of a futuristic design and modern architecture to a museum of world famous cars. Aside from being a car museum, the building is equipped with common facilities such as shops, restaurants, offices, and auditorium. UNStudio who designed the Museum of Mercedes Benz is using a unique trefoil design concept using three overlapping circles with the center removed to form a triangular atrium. The concept of building design are distributed over the surface of which rose gradually from the basic level, spiraling around the central atrium. Height of the building and the “double helix” interior designed to maximize space, providing 16.500 meter² exhibition space on square footprint at 4.800 meter² which contains more than 160 vehicles.
