Posted by yellow on July 19, 2010 Architecture Design

Architecture Centre Amsterdam is one of the design work in Architecture from Rene van Zuuk. Trapezioidal tall buildings with three floors located in a beautiful spot in Oosterdok. Building Architecture Centre Amsterdam has a unique architecture design.

Architecture Centre Amsterdam has a different side of the facade with remarkable internal openness. Street facade is necessary to represent the character of closed, while at the same time the building had to be opened on the beach. Forms the facade of the eastern waterfront view showing the loudest, revealing soul through a curtain of glass pavilion, barely showing a structural iron. The top floor is equipped with a glass partition, create an atmosphere like an attic. On the beach, dock level, multipurpose space for meetings, discussion and acceptance of groups (classes, visits).

Folded layers method is ideal for making single-curved surfaces using KalZip skin. Zinc-plated aluminum strip to form a circular plane itself continuously throughout the building mass. Typical form of sculpture pavilion, although unobtrusiveness and small dimensions, only provide adequate attention in the monumental setting of Oosterdok around.

An Architectural Design work which are proud to Architecture Centre Amsterdam.
