Tree House with a Mini-Studio by the Rockefeller
Tree house used as a mini art-house studio is located in the east elevation of the hill with views overlooking downtown Los Angeles. This house perched on a steel beam that mimic natural abstract. The project is not literally a tree house but a modern interpretation into one and form a contour around the stem. In one piece of glass on the floor connecting the tree to occupants of the house itself. Rockefeller as an architect, originally commissioned by this client to design a house that was not expected to eventually become a magnificent house. Some design elements have been initially explored in different contexts, such as a striking butterfly rooflines. Every surface of the tree house is appointed with wood, creating an unparalleled level of warmth. The exterior is coated with high-quality cedar roof while the lower part and the structure itself is coated with a rich palope. Inside, the floor is equipped with walnut walnut wood walls.
This house served both as a studio and as guest accommodation, tree house truly independent with the water closet, furnace, refrigerator, daybed, and television. Outside, walking quickly down the stairs leading to the protected and private outdoor shower.
