Atlas Bench Innovative Sitting Furniture by Giorgio Biscaro at Produced in rotational moulded polyethylene, Atlas is SLIDE’s latest creation, designed specifically to provide new, innovative, and always unexpected seating solutions that keep a firm hold on their protagonist role in furnishings. From the creative mind of the young designer Giorgio Biscaro, SLIDE proposes Atlas in the latest colour trends. Atlas is compact and sinuous, making it easy to handle and position, just perfect for furnishing indoor and outdoor environments alike. Atlas is also available in a lacquered version that exalts its soft lines, giving the environment that touch of the glossy frivolous, for an authentic SLIDE atmosphere.

Giorgio Biscaro’s inspiration design furniture to create the Atlas bench came by noticing that since many pubs and bars in Europe no longer allow smokers to smoke inside, they’re all outside on the street with nowhere to sit, although they can often be seen sitting on the front of parked cars. So the idea is to provide a bench for one or two people to sit on. The benches are well suited to be used outdoors, since they’re made from rotational moulded polyethylene.
